Job Description:

• Establish hygiene standards and procedures for workers and make sure to follow these standards and procedures regularly to know when they are worn out and also to ask them to replace their duties.
• Talk daily with manager about current tasks and assist in planning for future tasks.
• Ensure that all assigned tasks are completed and that resources are used efficiently. Ensure that school policies and procedures are followed by staff.
• Act as a communication channel between management and employees.
• Maintain and control the use of inventory, equipment and consumables.
• Request to purchase consumables, equipment and materials in a timely manner.
• Assist the manager in maintaining a register of assets.
• Monitor and report absenteeism to management.
• Actively promote health and safety and report any violations directly to a manager.
• Ensure all employees wear all appropriate PPE.
• On request, collect and provide daily, monthly and yearly information, including schedules, breakdowns and consumable usage etc.
• Prepare overtime schedule for manager approval.
• Work with members of other groups as needed.
• Check all equipment that requires replacement items if necessary.
• Report faulty equipment to a manager within 12 hours of failure.
• Ensure hygiene standards are met and maintained in all facilities and report deficiencies/defects to Manager.
• Monitor standards and compliance of work performed by subcontractors.
• Monitor and assist in scheduling holiday work needs (annual/timely cleaning job).
  Other tasks assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Must have excellent oral, written and even listening skills
• Must have good communication skills. i.e. supervisor must be someone who gets along with people easily (accessible)
• Must be exceptional in organizing and coordinating people and their activities
• Must demonstrate a high degree of integrity due to the fact that he/she can take care of everyone’s belongings
• Excellent decision-making ability is essential
• Must be proactive in carrying out his/her duties
• Must be competent and willing work as a team, and most importantly lead a team
• Must have a clear understanding of customer service guidelines/principles
• Must have relevant experience in cleaning and supervising cleaning procedures
• Basic qualifications are also required in any hospitality related field
• The recruitment process for this role may include a pre-employment assessment test.
