About the role  

Our client is looking to appoint Occupational Therapists to their government organisation based in Alice Springs on a permanent full-time or part-time basis. They currently have opportunities available working within paediatrics or with the elderly.

Key responsibilities include:  

· Provide evidence based occupational therapy services

· Assess and treat a varied caseload of patients in their own homes

· Equipment prescription and home modifications

· Work within a multi-disciplinary clinical team

· Complete timely and accurate documentation

· Visit remote aboriginal communities

To be successful in the role you will have: 

· Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (or equivalent)

· Current AHPRA registration

· Australian working rights

· Australian drivers’ licence

· National Police Clearance (within 6 months)

· Ochre card

· Mandatory vaccinations including Covid and flu

· Flexibility to travel away from home up to one week at a time
