Our client in Downtown is seeking an Manager over looking Fixed Income Purchase and Sales Team for 18 month contract opportunity.
The role include:
- Actively monitor workflows to uncover opportunities for efficiencies and oversee the implementation of positive changes in the group’s workflows,
- Effectively manage staff to provide focus and clarity in establishing individual goals, driving performance management, supporting career development and rewarding strong performance
- Ensures adherence of operations risk policies as outlined in policies, procedures, standards and guidelines instructions and ensures processes and controls are in place to minimize operations risk Supports the implementation of new processes/initiatives within team through testing and just in time training
- Develops and monitors service quality, dealing with Service Partner/Client service issues in a professional manner
- Proactively assess obstacles and identifies opportunities to improve overall team performance
Requirements
- Post-Secondary degree
- 4-7 years’ experience with robust knowledge of global securities settlement and clearance systems and depositories.
- FINRA series 99
- Strong knowledge of internal trading, operations, and accounting systems including.
- Understanding of the various functions within the department, the procedures and processes, and the risks that need to be monitored
