Our established client in Calgary is currently seeking a Payroll Specialist to join their hard-working team for a contract opportunity.

As the Payroll Specialist your day to day responsibilities of this contract role may include, but not be limited to:

• Processing semi-monthly hourly and salary payroll
• Processing deductions
• Calculating overtime
• Shift differentials
• Processing terminations
• Benefits administration
• Payroll variance analysis
• Assisting with payroll optimization project
• Ad hoc duties as requested

Requirements

Play a vital role as a Payroll Specialist with our client. The successful Payroll Specialist will possess the following:

• 5+ years of full cycle payroll experience
• Dayforce experience is a must
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Exemplary attention to detail
• Strong initiative with ability to meet tight deadlines
• Process improvement experience
• First rate communication skills
• Available to start immediately
