Job Description

Robert Half is seeking a Payroll & Pension Clerk, who will have the opportunity to join a dynamic, fast-growing team! Your responsibilities will consist of supporting the department in a variety of ways, including data entry, reconciliation of timecards, and providing statements to various departments. You should have strong communication skills so to effectively correspond between teams, like the internal team and outside customers. An influential company is looking for a candidate that enjoys being challenged to join their team as a Payroll & Pension Clerk. Responsibilities

- Distribute and administer reports as instructed

- Enter data into spreadsheets and the payroll system

- Data entry into spreadsheets and the payroll system

- Communicate with organization employees via a variety of channels to obtain approvals of timesheets

- Configure custom reports

- File, scan, fax, and perform other clerical duties as required

- Supply the organization with instructions/training regarding the use of payroll-related systems including entry of timesheets, online access of pay statements, etc.


Requirements

- ACCPAC experience

- Foundational knowledge in Computer Data Entry

- Adeptness in scanning

- Demonstrated knowledge of Scanning Documents

- Background working with Microsoft Word

- Employee Timesheets experience highly desired

- Deep understanding of data entry

- Numeric data entry experience

- Earlier work involving PDF

- General familiarity with Mail Checks

- Practical knowledge of Paper Filing

- e-Filing experience highly preferred

- Strong organization skills

- Skilled in Payroll software

- Strong communication and social skills

- Eagerness to master new systems

- Previous payroll experience

- Great attention to detail
