Our well known client is currently seeking an experienced Interim Payroll Manager for a 3 month term with potential for a longer term extension.
This hands-on role will report directly reporting to the Senior Director HR and your responsibilities will include:
- Oversight for payroll and benefits for over 2,000 employees
- Oversight and support of full cycle payroll administration
- Managing and monitoring all compliance
- Managing internal reporting, and statutory submissions
- Identifying any problems and providing solutions
- Assisting with the enrollment and administration of employee benefits for operations and administration staff
- Support the payroll staff as required to ensure the accurate and timely processing of weekly payroll.
To be considered for this opportunity, you are a designated Payroll Manager (PCP, CPM or equivalent), with at least 5 years of Payroll Management work experience. You are comfortable communicating and coordinating with various internal and external stakeholders, especially challenging external service providers to improve current system functionality through customization.
In addition to the above, the following skills are also desired:
- Work experience running full-cycle payroll and benefits
- Experience working with ADP Workforce Now and working in an environment with multiple locations and stakeholders is strongly desired
- Ability to work independently and being adaptable to work within a small team
- Experience in a complex union environment running payroll for multiple unions, non-union, hourly, salaried and seasonal employees
