Description

Robert Half has a Payroll & AR Administrator role available on a permanent basis. We are in need of organized and self-driven accounting professionals for a Payroll & AR Administrator position. You will thrive in this role if you are able to work with minimal supervision under tight deadlines. In this position, the Payroll & AR Administrator will maintain the full cycle of payroll duties for approximately 60 employees, processing payroll for both hourly and salaried employees, bi-weekly hours entered into system, benefits administration, calculation of commision quarterly, post journal entries for payroll, accounting, process full cycle of AR, interact with sales team, review sales orders, invoices, and aging reports. This Payroll & AR Administrator role will be located in the Vaughan, Ontario area and will be a permanent position. Apply today!

How you will make an impact

- Adept in credit card management and reconciliation

- Keep sales tax records and create and file quarterly payments

- Develop monthly account reconciliations

- Administrate Accounts Receivable full cycle

- Process Payroll full cycle


Requirements

- Considerable accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred

- Demonstrated ability in exemplary analytical, quantitative and social skills

- Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities

- Strong analytical skills with ability to implement solutions and vendor management experience with good organizational skills

- Accounts Receivable (AR) experience highly desired

- Well-founded grasp of Microsoft Excel

- Full Cycle Payroll experience

- Payroll for under 100 employees experience

- Process Bi-weekly Payroll experience

- Proficiency in Payroll year-end including T4

- Excellent verbal, written, and social communication skills

- Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

- Commitment and abilities to meet critical business deadlines

- Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment

- Strong time management and organizational skills
