Job Description
The Role:
We are seeking a passionate Pastry Sous Chef to join our Pastry Team and share the same goals of leading the way and wanting to create beautiful, imaginative and delicious creations . Work in some great open plan kitchens catering for weddings, corporate, and private events.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous pastry experience of 3 years or more
- Work experience in the Pastry Department of a 5 star luxury hotel
- Good knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards
- Hands on approach, leading by example
- Creativity and ability to 'think outside the box'
- Ability to engage with different team members and motivate.
- Flexibility to work a 7 day rotating roster
