OpenRent is growing rapidly and so we’re looking for an ambitious Partnerships Manager to help us capitalise on the huge and exciting opportunities that come with being the UK’s largest and best loved place to rent property.

We’re a small, close-knit team and we’re looking for someone who will thrive in that environment. That means someone who’s smart, humble and genuinely excited to help transform the industry for the better. You should be numerate and a good communicator, able to clearly articulate your ideas and share them with the team.

About The Role

 

Over 4 million people rely on OpenRent to help them with all aspects of renting property and we work with a wide range of third parties to deliver our services - from insurance companies, to gas and electrical engineers, to cutting edge proptechs. Your role will be to make sure we are working with the best in the business, making the commercial case for each opportunity, while enabling our engineering and product teams to deliver excellent customer experiences. Some of the main things you’ll be doing are:

 

  • Identify who the main suppliers are within a given market.
  • Manage discussions with potential suppliers and partners, ensuring our key requirements (product, tech, commercial) are fully understood.
  • Assess each supplier against our requirements.
  • Communicate regularly on the status of these discussions.

 

Depending on your skills and interests, you may also get involved in the following:

 

  • Analyse existing product and services performance to identify key opportunities for growth.
  • Review existing customer journeys to suggest possible ways to increase adoption of services.
  • Talk to existing large-scale landlord customers to understand their requirements and persuade similar landlords to use OpenRent.
  • Manage our affiliate programme.

 

Requirements

 

  • 2:1 from a top university.
  • Enthusiastic about working in a startup environment.
  • Detail-oriented and focused on the company’s specific requirements for suppliers we work with.
  • Able to work methodically and independently.
  • Extremely clear communicator.
  • Experience in building financial models would be an advantage
  • Passionate about our mission to fix renting for landlords and tenants alike.
