The Job

To support the Head of Partnerships in managing the servicing and delivery plans for Melbourne City FC’s commercial partners and corporate match day hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

Partner Servicing

• Support the Head of Partnerships in the planning, execution and project manager of all major partner sponsor deliverables including match day activations, hospitality, events, ticketing player appearances, digital content and community activities
• Directly account manage a selection of partners within the sponsorship portfolio including hospitality partners and support partners
• Continually seek new ways to improve the commercial partner experience.
• Communicate regularly with partners via WIP meetings or status updates.
• Observe partnership satisfaction levels and regularly communicate with the Head of Partnerships.
• Ensure all partnership servicing is “best practice” and reflect the Club’s brand positioning.

Corporate Hospitality and Events

• Oversee the Club’s premium match day hospitality event, The Chairman’s Club, membership lounge City Class and match day corporate suites
• Work with support staff in ensuring all administration and designated tasks for partner programs, hospitality functions and events are completed.
• Implement and delivery match day programs, functions and Club events.
• Management and Administration
• Maintain accurate records of services delivered
• Prepare reports for partnership reviews

What we Need From You

• Previous experience working within sponsorship, preferably in the sports industry
• Experience of managing corporate events
• Experience in developing networks and the ability to create and maintain effective working relationships
• Strong facilitation skills

• Experience working within a highly customer focused environment
• Ability to establish relationships and influence key stakeholder groups
• Resourceful and outcome focused
• Highly self-motivated with the ability to motivate others
• Ability to multi-task with strong organisational skills
