About this role
Our partnerships matter. To our service, our delivery and our customers. You'll be responsible for the health of these critical relationships by establishing the right framework, owning its implementation with our partners and ensuring it remains fit for purpose.
You'll be responsible for the performance of our key internal and external partners to deliver and maintain service for our major BT Ireland customers. The aim of the Partner Manager is to ensure that excellent service, quality and value for money is delivered through our most critical service partners, which supports BT Ireland’s own commercial and operational performance.
You'll also be responsible for identifying and delivering effective improvement projects with critical partners that make a measurable improvement to operational/commercial efficiency, customer experience or growth. The role holder will proactively identify Improvement opportunities and create case for change within the function.
You'll have the following responsibilities
Maintain a healthy relationship with our key partners.
Drive strategic partner service performance to achieve service excellence and high quality Customer Experience.
Work across BT Group with partner stakeholders to agree, prioritise and implement key initiatives, communicating outcomes and progress.
Acts as the BT Ireland point of contact for our partners.
Champion BT Ireland interests and to influence strategic focus of our partners.
Advise senior leadership team in BT Ireland on commercial/contractual performance of our partners.
Deliver quarterly service reviews with partners and BT Ireland senior leadership.
Implement and manage a strong governance framework whilst ensuring the basis of good partner management is in place.
Delivery of supplier scorecarding and performance improvement across all elements of value (service, delivery, quality, cost and risk.
You'll have the following skills & experience
Skills:
Strong skills in building the case for change, drawing on data and analytical techniques where appropriate, and communicating this to business audiences.
Able to operate and influence at senior levels both internally and externally.
Strong relationship, contract management and partner management skills.
Strong Communication skills, with the ability to create clear strategic goals and direction, aligning the team whilst motivating/ empowering matrix teams to deliver.
Strong organisational skills, to manage conflicting demands on time
Strong negotiation skills.
Experience:
It is anticipated you will have experience of building and maintaining effective partner and stakeholder relationships.
Managing critical partners and developing effective governance frameworks.
Experience working with contracts, key commercial terms and key performance indicators (Desirable).
Experience of identifying performance improvement opportunities (commercial and operational) but also managing and mitigating business risks.
Experience in delivering messages (good or bad) clearly, promptly and honestly.
Experience of building strong quality and service improvement plans.
