• Experience in Partnerships or Business Development roles, with a mix of negotiations and agreement strategy experience.
• Understanding of data topics including privacy, data sharing, and competition.
• Strategic thinking with an ability to look at the bigger picture from a partner, ecosystem, and Google perspective.
• Problem-solving and analytical abilities, combined with ability to work tactfully with diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to work with ambiguity and operate effectively and collaboratively across multiple functions and levels in a large and distributed organization.

The EMEA Partnerships Solutions (EPS) team works to deliver long term positive impact to our EMEA partners’ industries through transformational collaborations and effective internal advocacy. EPS offers opportunity to work with multiple teams in Google, and deliver strategies that are impactful to the wider ecosystem.

EMEA Partnerships Solutions is comprised of deep industry experts and cross-Google Partner Managers across various industries that partner with multiple global businesses, partnerships, and product teams to: provide dedicated “one Google” support to our global Priority Partners, Incubate transformative/innovative big ideas, and rally cross-functional teams towards new opportunities; accelerate agreements and drive strategic initiatives (e.g cross-functional joint business plans, key industry programs); enable front line teams via cross-functional industry narratives, best practice sharing communities, and newsletters; and engage with ecosystems to assess needs and bring the best of Google to solve industry challenges.

The EPS Data team operates with other teams to support a holistic and responsible approach to data. As a Partner Manager, you will work cross-functionally with many internal teams, while developing analyses and strategies to bring the best of Google, and data responsibility, to our partners. You will develop a deeper understanding of the data landscape in EMEA, including privacy, data sharing, competition and responsible innovation, and what it means for Google and our partners.

Responsibilities

• Support EPS with high value cross-product area agreements including proposals on concrete actions to resolve data-related agreement-blocking issues, myth busting, and queries. Centralize knowledge for the Global Partnerships team to reduce further data agreement-blockers.
• Develop proactive solutions, data resources, and narratives for partners (including on regulatory impact), working with vertical and cross-functional teams. Manage and deliver tailored priority partner conversations with regard to data and privacy needs.
• Apply cross-product area learnings and industry/ecosystem insights to develop recommendations and best practice to address data issues including advocating internally to relevant Product and Legal teams.
• Develop, launch, and manage initiatives/programs and/or working groups to address key data challenges or opportunities at scale.
