The Role

If you can commit to just one day per week and 1 in 3 Saturday mornings, we have an exceptional opportunity for you. Eureka Veterinary Centre are looking for a competent and enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join our delightful and friendly team on a part-time basis. Ideally, you will be available to work one day a week (we are flexible which day) between 8:30am - 6:30pm (£320-£400 per day), and one in three Saturday’s between 8:30am – 12:30pm (£160 - £200).
This is a varied role, including a mix of consultations and small animal surgery. You will be providing professional advice to our beloved clients, assisting colleagues, and performing a small to moderate amount of surgical procedures in the middle of the day.

We are a beautiful, light and airy, purpose-built SA practice in a small shopping centre located in Ashford. Situated less than an hour from London by train, and in close proximity to the alluring Kent coast, we offer a welcoming and positive environment to work in.
We are well-equipped including in-house blood machine and digital X-ray machines. Our team is made up of 1 Veterinary Surgeon, 1 Registered Veterinary Nurse, 2 Student Veterinary Nurses and 1 Receptionist. Each member of our amazing team have the most positive of attitudes and make working at Eureka a pleasure.

Applicant Requirements
This is a sole charge position and requires a reliable, responsible and flexible individual. You must be RCVS registered, competent with sole charge, have excellent communication skills and the ability to perform routine surgical procedures. High standards of client and patient care are essential, as well as the ability to work well within the team. You will have access to advice and support from our senior Vet at our main practice.
