The Heart Group (www.theheartgroup.co.nz) is New Zealand's largest and leading private cardiology group with 31 cardiologists providing comprehensive cardiac services from multiple locations throughout the Auckland region. We are looking for a Part Time Receptionist to support our small secretarial team at one of our peripheral clinics at Ormiston Hospital, Botany. This position would ideally suit someone who is interested in returning to the workforce and/or pursuing a long-term career in the medical administration field.
This part time position requires someone who has outstanding written and verbal communication skills, has a warm and friendly manner, thrives in a fast-paced environment and able to multi-task. You will also require a 'can do' attitude, be motivated, have a strong work ethic and desire to succeed. You will be required to work approximately 20 hours per week Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and be available to work any additional hours to help cover for any leave. The applicant must be reliable, hard-working, have excellent presentation, a high attention to detail and a strong will to learn. Experience in medical insurance prior approvals and invoicing is advantageous. Excellent computer skills and telephone manner are essential, as is being able to liaise with General Practitioners, specialists and The Heart Group team.
Hours are Wednesday 8.00am - 2.00pm, Thursday 8.30am - 2.00pm Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm.
