We are looking for 2 x part time / casual ice cream assistants to join our Takapuna team - Immediate start. 

We are primarily looking to fill evening shifts across a 7 day trading week. Applicants must be able to work some Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings in their shift mix as these are our busiest nights of the week, but we also have other weekday evening and weekend days shifts available too! We are ideally seeking people who would like to work anywhere between 1 - 3 shifts a week. 

Ice Cream Assistant Responsibilities:

• Serving of ice cream, milkshakes, sundaes, desserts and coffee.
• Baking of waffle cones
• Till operation and cash handling
• General store cleaning
• Ensuring a high level of store presentation and product display at all times
• Opening and/or closing of the store.

It would be great if you:

• Had hospitality / retail experience
• Knew how to make coffee (but it's not essential)
• Had excellent customer service skills (super important!)
• Are mature and responsible (there will be times when you will need to work in a sole charge capacity)
• Were friendly and approachable
• Were proactive, reliable & honest
• Are able to read and write English
• Had a good sense of humor :-)
