As the Parliamentary Executive Support and Researcher to Julie Anne Genter, MP you'll put your administration and multi-tasking skills to good use in this varied and rewarding environment. You'll be happy to work autonomously within Parliament, while being relied upon to provide your MP with research and briefings on their particular areas of interest.

This is a multifaceted role where no two days are the same, some of your key responsibilities may include:

• Managing your MPs busy inbox, diary and coordinating travel bookings
• Organising and booking meetings, preparing agendas and taking minutes
• Providing advice and reporting on the office budget and expenses
• Coordinating high quality events and functions for your MP
• Researching and developing in-depth knowledge/expertise on your MPs areas of interest
• Preparing briefing notes for your MP for Select Committees and the House on sitting weeks

As an employee of Parliamentary Service you will be apolitical in your role. Awareness of the political landscape may be beneficial in supporting your MP.

This is an events based, fixed term role linked to the MP, working 40 hours per week. Some flexibility in hours may be required.
