Job Description

Our client are National Transport Warehousing and Logistics companies and they are currently seeking: 

  • Transport Administrator /
  • Pallet Administrator

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • General Admin Role 
  • Daily Processing of drivers run paper work. 
  • Address any customer queries in relation to billing or proof of deliveries
  • Enter credits and claims into CMS as required
  • Address any subcontractor payment queries
  • Ensure all customer invoicing data and subcontractor SPA data is accurate before processing
  • Process pallet documentation (inbound and outbound), reconcile pallet transactions / assist with pallet enquiries
  • Assist with the coordination of pallet stock takes as required
  • Investigate any pallet claims as required upon consultation with Leader
  • Perform data entry into SWIMS & 2IC
  • Liaise with sub-contracted transport coordinators, customers and warehouse operators as required
  • Liaise with customers to resolve matters
  • Complete required KPI data entry / information collecting and excel reporting
  • Compile and create documents as needed, ensure all filing and records are kept up to date and in order for auditing
  • Develop self to meet both career and organisational goals, apply diverse skills and perspective to achieve common goals (through 1:1’s and development discussions)
  • Consistently hitting or exceeding the goals and objectives set by self and others
  • Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers
  • Step up to address difficult issues
  • Follow practices and procedures regarding Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ), HACCP and Approved Arrangement guidelines whilst also ensuring Chain of Responsibility (CoR) compliance
  • Follow and enforce all food safety, quality and legality requirements

To be considered for these roles you will ideally have the below:

  • 2 years+ Previous Transport / Logistics  industry experience
  • Ability to understand transport terminology 
  • Good understanding of CoR principles (NHVLR, Mass/Fatigue Management), 3PL Warehouse/Transport Operation
  • Strong administration and data entry skills
  • Experience with using 2IC (pallet reconciliation) is advantageous
  • Excellent data entry and administration skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong time management and organisational skills

Training is provided but some experience in both field would be preferred.
