We have an opportunity for a Paediatric Psychologist to join the Child Development Service at one of New Zealand's top locations. The successful candidate will be working from Tauranga and Whakatāne locations that are located on the east coast of the Bay of Plenty, which is renowned for its beautiful beaches, surfing, kayaking, boating, fishing, outdoor pursuits, walking and native bush reserves.

This position is based within a multidisciplinary Child Development Service across the Bay. The position will be part of a small project team focusing predominantly on diagnosis and support for ID and ASD. There will be the opportunity for the successful candidate to bring innovative ideas to the project and to develop further quality improvement initiatives.  The available position is working 32 hours per fortnight (0.4FTE) on a 1 year fixed term.

You will require:

  • Proven experience in the industry.
  • Registration with New Zealand Psychologists Board.
  • A current Annual Practising Certificate
  • A full driver's licence.
