We are seeking a highly motivated, proactive individual with sound PA skills to provide a streamlined service across two private healthcare facilities catering for self-pay, insured and NHS patients.  The role is based at Mount Stuart in Torquay but there may be occasions when you will be required to travel to and work from Exeter Medical.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Adherence to high standards of confidentiality

• High levels of accuracy, attention to detail and timekeeping

• Excellent customer care skills

• Basic knowledge of medical terminology

• Minute-taking skills (essential)

• Good typing speed

• Good working knowledge of IT processes and systems

This is an interesting and varied role for someone able to work flexibly and under pressure, either individually or as part of a team. You will provide support to the Hospital Director and Head of Clinical Services who work across both sites, and to the Hospital Manager for Exeter Medical.  A large part of the role will be effectively co-ordinating complaints from receipt to resolution and will also cover consultant interaction, general correspondence, arranging meetings and taking minutes, audits, responding to patient concerns, IT administration and hospital wide communications.
