Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Outbound Planning Manager to join our Consumer Goods division working closely with our customer Nike. Based In Altona North, this position will play a key role in the analysis of all operational areas of the DC to improve the delivery outcome to the end customer. 

As the Outbound Planning Manager you will:

• Be responsible for the performance of goods supplied in full on time to a variety of customers across numerous distribution techniques.
• Assess inventory capabilities and perform analysis to increase fulfillment rates.
• Report to internal and external stakeholders detailing missed delivery windows and suggest operational improvements.
• Manage one direct report from our salary team and engage with team members within the DC to improve workflow
• Assess trends and variations in product volumes which may effect our delivery capabilities 
• Adopt a pragmatic approach to service delivery anticipating supply issues

Qualifications

 To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A detailed knowledge of logistics and inventory management
• 3+ years with a proven track record in a similar capacity
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Advanced analytical skills across multiple software packages
• Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain and Logistics or similar is highly regarded
