The Team
The staff who work at Hospital Dental are comprised of dentists, dental technicians, dental assistants and administrators. The service provides care to people who are medically compromised, people who have a physical and or intellectual disability and children who need to have their dental treatment under general anaesthetic.
The Role
We are seeking an Orthodontist to join our hospital dental team on a permanent, part time (0.2FTE) basis.
In this role you will be required to provide orthodontic diagnosis, management and treatment to patients, and in particular patients with a cleft lip/palate and/or craniofacial anomalies, as well as those with severe skeletal jaw discrepancies.
There is also the opportunity to teach aspects of orthodontics to house surgeons, detail students and other allied health professionals.
To be considered for this role you need to be eligible to be a member of the New Zealand Dental Association and have a specialists qualification in Orthodontics
