We have an opportunity for an Operations Manager to join our team based in Cheltenham. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week
As Operations Manager you will be accountable for the management and successful delivery of all hard FM planned and reactive works under the remit of the operational delivery teams. This includes the identification of the necessary resources, skills and capabilities required to deliver the service to minimise reliance upon third party contractors responsible for delivery of statutory and mandatory compliance.

Accountable for the successful delivery of the identified PPM and reactive works.
Comply with all contract SLA and KPI’s, site policies, Health and Safety rules and regulations.
Accountable for ensuring that all opportunities for improvement are thoroughly reviewed and when approved are implemented.
Ensure all audits are supported and all corrective actions addressed within agreed timeframes.
Development and delivery of operational strategy to improve overall service delivery.
Ensure effective utilisation of resources to minimise expenditure.
Ensure all staff have set objectives that are reviewed regularly against business and contract requirements.
Responsible for ensuring all staff have personal development plans that clearly articulate both training and development in line with current roles and future succession plans.
Review performance reports and identify areas of success and where investment is required in order to continually improve delivery.
Accountable for maintenance of professional attitude and image in all aspects of service delivery throughout the team.
Develop the annual operating plan, in so far as relates to cost within the area of responsibility.
Report monthly on all health and safety incidents, accidents and near misses together with DWB’s and cascade to ensure the importance of health and safety culture.
Accountable for overall hard FM operational performance.
Corporate:
Develop and maintain day to day contact with client representatives.

Act as a G4S ambassador in all interactions with client and contractor representatives.
Adhere to corporate security policies.
Identify training and development to satisfy corporate objectives and define succession plans.
Ensure the professional attitude and image in all aspects of service delivery throughout all your team.
DV clearance will be required to fulfil this role.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Essential Criteria:
IOSH managing safely/NEBOSH
NVQ4 engineering
5 or more years’ experience in working in a commercial or industrial FM service delivery environment.
BSC level 1 & 2.
Excellent communication & leadership skills.
