BBCNI are currently recruiting for an Operations Manager to support our Award Winning News Team.
This role specifically sits within Technology Operations and is the day-to-day liaison with News for all their technical and operational requirements as well as delivering cost-effective solutions to meet their strategic needs
The BBC leads the world in digital broadcasting and BBC Northern Ireland has made a major contribution to that development along with the introduction of state-of-the-art production, editing, transmission and business reporting systems. This has been made possible by the expertise of our integrated technology and operations groups combined with a strong, professional management team. BBC NI is a national broadcaster producing a full range of award-winning programmes for Television, Radio and Online for both Network and Regional output.
Your main responsibilities will include;
Whilst News is the primary customer these operations also serve other production groups and the post holder will have to ensure their needs are met and that resources are prioritised accordingly.
