We’re looking for an energetic, unflappable, collaborative Operations Manager to help lead the execution of key strategic projects for the Net Zero Cloud (NZC) product management team. This role will be directly involved in and helping to manage day-to-day operations of keeping the Net Zero Cloud product running. The job duties will require highly detailed, persistent work on key initiatives that maintain, enhance and help the product move forward. The role will also serve as a liaison connecting the NZC product team to the corporate Sustainability teams performing greenhouse gas emissions accounting and ESG reporting. This position will report to the NZC global product lead and work closely with the entire extended product and corporate Sustainability team and many cross-functional business partners.

Job Details

We need someone who is energetic, highly collaborative, exquisitely detail-oriented, and passionate about environmental impact and sustainability. You will work with a small team of exceptional customer-focused teammates to run the day to day operations of the product. In this role, we need someone who can:

• Speak or very quickly come to understand the language and details of carbon accounting

• Manage operations of the interdepartmental workflows and workstreams between Net Zero Cloud product management and Marketing, Distribution, CSG, Partnerships and other groups

• Work with vendors of data products to obtain their data for use in Net Zero Cloud, and help us transform that data for inclusion in the Net Zero Cloud product

• Work with our internal procurement systems and team members to develop and execute contracts and purchase orders

• Help with research and execution of product and industry accreditation efforts

• Organize and help prioritize and ensure execution of all special projects across the Product team

• Understand and track down information from a variety of sources that informs product performance and issues

• Be proactive in foreseeing issues and resolving them before they happen

Experience and skills:

• Bachelors degree required in management or related fields

• 3+ years experience working in an operations team or on an operations role

• Very strong with Excel or Google Sheets

• Exceptionally strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational and time management skills

• Ability to be nimble and proactive

• Direct experience with carbon accounting, energy management or similar subjects strongly preferred, but a deep desire and aptitude to learn the details of these topics will suffice
