We are expanding the ‘Start’ phase, and we need an Operations Legend to help manage things within the field, and help maintain the reliability and profitability of the company. We are expanding with more labour, more equipment hire and more sites; from labourers, to gate people, fork lift drivers, carpenters. Equipment from brooms to water pumps, to water blaster trailers. Sites - broadening our portfolio with different clients. And we need someone to help manage the growth and ensure the clients are happy, and staff are all performing, whilst maintaining equipment when needed.

There will be a lot of out and about work required, and will be connecting with key site managers, meeting staff regularly for tool box talks, health and safety and presenting the company in a professional way to achieve the above.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the operations of growing team of labour employees and contractors
• Recruitment skills, work closely with our in-house recruiter whilst taking the lead on your team resource needs
• Working closely with the Director to ensure a positive financial performance of assigned resource to projects
• Facilitate movements of resource and equipment across our sites
• Ensuring all health and safety compliance across all assigned projects
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with our clients, meeting their expectations is essential
• Promote the business within existing networks while continuing to expand network – optional if interested

 About You:

• 2 + years’ experience in a similar role within the construction space
• A proven track record of leading a team and delivering projects on time and to budget
• Exceptional people skills - Lead and nurture mentality
• Proactive approach to problem solving
• Must have the ability to work under pressure and have an ability to prioritise projects
• Be self-motivate, passionate and solution oriented
