We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join our team in Northmead.
Lead, develop and mentor our dynamic transport operations team to exceed customer expectations, and facilitate an inclusive culture on site. Contribute to business strategy, and implement continuous improvement initiatives in this exciting role.
As the Operations Manager, you will:
- Set and manage standards and performance expectations for work group leadership to ensure the highest standards of excellence in customer service reliability and efficiency
- Be responsible for accountabilities of all roles reporting directly or indirectly and if required may be required to fulfill these areas of accountability to ensure business continuity
- Promote collaboration and acceptance across the business by providing leadership and resources
- Ensure workers are trained in and follow work policies, procedures, and safe systems of work
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Ability to lead and manage teams to achieve exceptional performance
- Proven problem-solving ability with a solutions orientation matched with an ability to solve customer problems creatively.
- Ability to determine manpower and equipment to meet scheduled workloads to minimise labour costs and meet customer requirements.
- Strong communication and customer management skills and experience
