Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a client focused professional to step into the permanent full-time role of Operations Associate.

Based in Auckland, the key purpose of this role is to assess and make decisions on applications for KiwiSaver early withdrawals. You'll also be providing general administration and support to our Corporate Trustees Services team.

This role will require the ability to liaise with internal and external clients on a professional basis, while always keeping our supervisory statutory obligations in mind.

This role will play a key part in process improvement for the Operations team. We are always looking for ways we can improve, and your fresh pair of eyes will be essential in our growth and change.

Who are we?

Trustees Executors Limited is New Zealand's first Trustee Company, established in Dunedin in 1881. We have a rich and proud history providing professional trustee, financial and estate planning services to individuals and the corporate sector.

We are a Licensed Financial Markets Supervisor. Our Corporate Trustee Services team oversees the conduct of firms that provide financial products to everyday investors to ensure investors' interests are put first. We provide specialist supervision and trustee services to the corporate sector including managed investment schemes such as KiwiSaver and managed funds, debt securities, non-bank deposit takers and retirement villages.

Our core purpose is to work with people to protect their assets for successful futures.

What you will bring:

  • Two years administration experience in the financial services sector
  • A working knowledge of KiwiSaver legislation is advantageous, but not essential
  • The ability to communicate and influence all levels of an organisation up to senior management
  • A client-centric way of working, with an eye for detail and an understanding of what the customer expects
  • A willingness to look at new and different ways to improve service, internal efficiencies and productivity
