At New World Vic Park, we are out here trying to provide a sweet experience to make life easier for the customer.  And now, we are looking to fill an Online-shopping Delivery Assistant vacancy within our store.

The Roles:

• Ensure deliveries/orders are checked against the Manifest to ensure correct quantity and quality of goods.
• Load and unload deliveries/orders efficiently by adhering to Standard Operating Procedures.
• Deliver orders to the correct delivery address by efficient use of route to minimize customer waiting times.
• Ensure all restricted goods are delivered in accordance with ID checking procedures and policies
• Ensure housekeeping/cleaning responsibilities and schedules for Staging Area, Online equipment and Vehicles.
• If and when required, ensure items picked, packed, processed and invoiced for a customer’s order is completed accurately and efficiently completed by adhering to standard operating procedures (SOP’s) and best practice guidelines
• You will also need to have the desire to excel, the ability to use your initiative, and the drive and enthusiasm for the position.

What are we looking for?

• The hours for this role may include early morning starts, late nights and weekend shifts so to be considered you must be flexible with hours and days. 
• ONLY holders of full Class 1 NZ Drivers Licenses will be considered for the Online Delivery Driver.
• Successful applicants must have impeccable personal presentation standards and excellent communication skills.
• Customer Focused - Adopts a “service” mentality at all times, genuinely enthusiastic about the difference service makes to the customer and success of the business
• Be committed to safe working practices.
• Physically fit and healthy.
• Good listening skills and the ability to follow instructions.
• Be able to communicate in verbal and written English.
