Job Description

To support both the pick and load operations through a smooth flow of goods while ensuring a high quality standard and accuracy and adhering to strict safety and food hygiene standards to achieve customer satisfaction.

1. Supports Associates picking products by transferring a smooth flow of goods to the warehouse in various temperature areas for organisation and staging to effectively load trucks in a timely manner.Loads and packs correctly documented and labelled orders to trucks ensuring trucks “On Time” departure and completes all relevant system info and paperwork accurately associated with orders and supply to drivers.
2. Assists in the picking process as required by efficiently picking and assembling orders from various temperature areas with great care and quality in mind to achieve “On Time” delivery to customers.
3. Correctly documents and labels all orders correctly through interpretationand understanding documentation including pick slips, packaging details, shipping labels, etc.
4. Delivers customer orders to our onsite collection points and balances responsibilities with customer interaction and offering service including supporting issues to resolution.
5. Optimizes tote fill by packing customer orders in a space efficient manner while still ensuring product quality standards are maintained.
6. Ensures strict adherence to strict safety and food hygiene standards including maintaining a clean and hygienic work area, immediate clean up of all spills and debris and ensures all totes are clean and void of debris before packing.Operates material handling equipment in a safe and responsible manner and ensuring that all safety pre-inspection checks are completed before use.
7. Exhibits the desired behaviors that support the organization’s mission and core values.
Participates in continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting changes including but not limited to operational procedures, productivity standards and efficiencies, customer satisfaction, safety, working conditions and quality standards.
8. Demonstrates flexibilityin completing /adjusting to work assignments based on customer requests and meeting daily delivery schedules.
