Self-driven and organized accounting professionals are needed for an exciting Bookkeeper opportunity. The ideal candidate must be self-driven, organized, and comfortable working under tight deadlines with minimal supervision. The Bookkeeper will manage accounts payable, reconciliation, month-end closing, and accounts receivable. Apart from this, the Bookkeeper will maintain journal entries or general ledger reconciliation and perform data entry, cash applications, and full cycle A/P. Responsibilities

- Maintains sales tax records and creates and files quarterly payments

- Put subcontractor 1099's, and any other IRS year-end requirements together

- Maintain Accounts Payable

- Produce monthly reconciliations, financial statements and all supporting documents

- Credit Card management and reconciliation

- Lead Accounts Receivable

- Keep a general ledger

- Sustain monthly accounting close

- Administer monthly accounting close

- Arrange cash flow projections, as needed

- Supplementary assignments when necessary

Requirements

- Dedication and requisite skills to meet critical business deadlines

- Proficiency in payroll

- Accounts Payable (AP) experience

- Sage 50 experience preferred

- Accounts Receivable (AR) experience preferred

- Experience working in a dynamic and changing company environment a plus

- Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities

- Highly organized and self-motivated

- 5+ years of related experience- Excellent verbal, written, and social skills

- Previous accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred

- Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

- Demonstrated ability to implement solutions, strong analytical and communication skills as well

- Outstanding analytical, quantitative and social skills
