Job Description

Seeking an Administration Assistant with great attention to detail for a three month fixed contract for an established firm of Chartered Accountants based in Newmarket.

Your main priorities will be:

  • Check Document Manager in FYI that all information has been electronically scanned and is complete to the paper file.
  • Scan any missing information so that Document Manager and the file match.
  • Triple-check before destruction of the scanned records.
  • Other office and administrative tasks as requested .

The position would ideally be working Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.30am to 5pm with some flexibility of days and start and finish times. We are looking for someone to work at least 35-40 hours a week full-time for a three month period.

While the role may be boring at times you need to maintain a constant attention to detail, start and finish in a fastidious and conscientious manner, be organised and efficient and have a really pedantic nature to ensure that all records are accurate and up to date, with all process steps stringently followed.

We will need at least two references to check, complete a Criminal History report and a credit check as required by Anti-Money Laundering legislation. Previous office experience of some sort is preferred, a mature-minded reliable outlook and excellent communications skills.  

The right person will be entitled to work in New Zealand and be able to start ASAP.
