Job Description:

We are currently seeking a self-motivated Office Administrator to join our team in Tauranga. This role is integral to the smooth running of our Tauranga office by providing quality office administration support to the Manager and the wider Tauranga team.

  • Energetic personality with the ability to interact with people in a positive and courteous manner.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with attention to detail, and the ability to follow through.
  • Ability to receive and communicate clear instructions.
  • Proficient in entering accurate data.
  • Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles.
  • Be able to work within a team.
  • Be well presented in both appearance and attitude.
  • Good knowledge of computer systems, especially Microsoft Office, Word and Excel.  Experience with other software is preferred but not essential.
  • Most importantly - providing good old-fashioned ‘Service’ and a ‘Can Do Attitude’ to support our Manager, the team, suppliers and clients.

Some key tasks include:

  • Customer Service
  • Scheduling service requests
  • Timesheets
  • Managing phone calls, email inbox, responding to supplier and client inquiries
  • General administrative tasks, filing, mail, data entry
  • Provide back up support for the Rotorua Administration team
  • Equipment inventory and ordering
  • Word processing as required

 We are looking for a general all-rounder who has the genuine ability to engage with people and get results.

What you need:

  • Good working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office especially Word and Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with other professional staff.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal staff.
  • Able to work under pressure to complete multiple tasks, so an ability to manage time and workload is essential.
  • A full drivers licence and the ability to drive a manual transmission.
  • H&S awareness
