Job Description

We are seeking a self-motivated Office Administration Assistant to join our team in Wellington for 20 hours per week over 5 days . The overall focus of this position is to provide quality office administration support to the Wellington Office and the wider Wildlands team across all of New Zealand.

Some key tasks include:

  • Providing direct support to the Wildlands team for reception duties including greeting visitors, handling of phone calls/emails, couriers and mail.
  • Making travel arrangements, and arranging purchases (including correct processing of supplier invoices).
  • Providing administration support to the Ecology Team Leader.
  • Word processing and data entry.
  • Provide back up support for the Rotorua Administration team.

We are looking for a general all-rounder who has the genuine ability to engage with people and get results.

We provide outstanding ecological services to sustain and improve our environments.

Job Requirements:

What you need:

  • Good working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office especially Word and Excel
  • A desire to learn and develop skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with other professional staff.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal staff.
  • Able to work under pressure to complete multiple tasks, so an ability to manage time and workload is essential.
  • A full drivers licence and the ability to drive a manual transmission.
