About us

Styles Group Acoustics and Vibration Consultants are looking for a new administrative support person to join our high performing and vibrant team. 

We have a team of consultants operating principally in Auckland but also from offices around New Zealand and overseas.  Our business is in the measurement, prediction and assessment of underwater noise, airborne noise and environmental vibration.

We operate in a niche of the market and we offer the highest quality advice.  We are often engaged to provide advice in judicial processes to tight timeframes.

About the Role

We are looking for a team member who is enthusiastic and proactive, with initiative and drive to ensure the smooth operation of our office, located inside an iconic heritage building in Parnell.

You will play an integral role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our office and maintaining relationships with suppliers and clients. 

Your energetic and solution-focussed attitude will make a positive contribution to our supportive team culture.

This is a part time sole administration role for 12 hours per week, split over 2 or 3 days. We offer flexibility to work around school hours if needed. 

All applicants must be eligible to work in New Zealand.

Qualifications & experience

  • Experience in office administration using Xero
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A good working knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Ability to work efficiently and independently
  • Confident in decision-making using initiative and problem solving
  • A friendly, confident and caring team player
  • Highly organised with a “can-do” attitude, and ability to prioritise and multitask
  • Full driver licence

Tasks & responsibilities

Day to day tasks include:

  • Day to day independent administration of office and supply needs
  • Managing relationships with suppliers
  • Making sure we are getting the best value from our suppliers
  • Liaising with debtors and managing overdue invoices
  • Organising occasional events and functions
  • Responding to emails and calls
