We are currently recruiting for an Office Administrator, to work on a part-time basis (approximately 40 hours a fortnight).

The Office Administrator – New Zealand is an administrative role for the DBMV Auckland office. The role will focus on navigating the New Zealand compliance and regulatory environment, human resource implementation, basic financial functions, benefit implementation, and office needs that arise as the company and office grows.  The role will collaborate with the company Finance and People departments.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Reception and front office duties, where required;
  • Ensuring business compliance with NZ Inland Revenue Department, Department of Labour, and Worksafe NZ laws. Raising any issues when the company is not in compliance;
  • Collaborating with the Global People Team to help define and implement company policies relating to people and employment;
  • Implementing People functions and initiatives evolving from the company’s newly implemented HR software, or as directed by the Global People Team;
  • Coordinating with DBM Global and DBMV People Department on benefit changes and implementation and effectively communicating effects on employees;
  • Responsible for administering and maintenance of medical insurance and superannuation for team members and ensuring benefit compliance with laws;
  • Responsible for providing support to the Global Finance Team and providing guidance and context to payments and invoices;
  • Collaborating with the local Business Manager in Auckland to develop and implement office infrastructure needs and supplies;
  • Responsible for coordinating with outside suppliers and assisting any visiting clients to the office;
  • Responsible for the office catering, travel, and accommodation requirements;
  • Responsible for any other administration duties as required inclusive of assisting the wider team with project administration.

Criteria:

  • Previous experience in a similar administration position;
  • Organisation and planning skills;
  • Verbal and written communication skills;
  • Attention to detail and ability to produce high quality and accurate work;
  • Computer skills including the ability to use Microsoft Office products and learn new software products when required by DBM Vircon.
