Job Description
Due to business growth, we are looking for a Rehabilitation Consultant with tertiary qualifications to join our successful rehabilitation team in Mackay or Rockhampton.
A little about these fabulous and versatile roles where you will be working with people who've sustained a physical or psychological injury and helping them return to their previous daily living activities at work and home.
You will be managing a caseload of 25-30 cases - definitely a hands-on role!
You will assess client needs and develop strategies and interventions for a safe return to pre-injury activities
You will play an important role in a multidisciplinary approach, always with clients best interests at heart
Assessments! Activities of Daily Living, Initial assessments, early intervention, home, work-site, ergonomic, functional capacity assessments along with job task analyses and case management services
Working across various schemes such as workers compensation, compulsory third party, life insurance, Comcare, Department of Veteran's Affairs, and employer-funded injury prevention programs.
Qualifications

You'll be a driven and energetic professional with hopefully all of the qualities below!
AHPRA registration and a qualification in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology or Physiotherapy.
A current drivers license and car
Fabulous communication skills - there is a lot of getting to know your clients and stakeholders!
Be great if you can work on your own always knowing you are part of a tight knit and collaborative team
Compassion and kindness always go a long way as does empathy
