As an Occupational Health Advisor, you’ll deliver the application of evidence based OH practice to a high standard in the workplace. You’ll be responsible for assessing the fitness of individual job applicants and workers for specific tasks, ensuring a good fit between applicants and job, recommending suitable adjustments to enable a person to undertake the work they have been selected to perform safely and effectively. You’ll case-manage workers who are on sick leave, working with other health professionals to ensure the earliest return of functional capacity and return to work. You’ll provide advice on the provision of safe and healthy conditions by informed clinical assessment of the physical and psychological aspects of the working environment.
By promoting compliance with relevant health and safety legislation, you’ll asses potential cases of occupational injuries and illness; investigating, managing, and reporting individual cases appropriately and establishing if this is a single case or if there is wider incidence. You’ll assist in the organization of health promotion activities and events and provide education and training on various departments within Harrods on matters related to occupational health and wellbeing.

About you
You’ll be motivated in supporting innovative ways in delivering and OH service and able to set standards for delivery of care, seeking continuous improvement to achieve set targets. You’ll be dedicated to being a key part in the development of provision of commercial health services from clinical perspective. You should be able to ensure clinical governance and Data Protection compliance, actively maintaining inter-departmental communication between doctors, nurses and other departments.
