We are looking for an awesome individual with great initiative to join our team in Petone, Wellington. This is a permanent full-time position.

What does the day to day look like?

The Occupational Health Administrator will take the lead on all administrative matters related to our Occupational Health services including customer service, documentation management and resource management.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our busy Occupational Health Bookings Team in Petone – Wellington. You will be joining a fun and supportive administration team which is spread out nationally from Dunedin through to Auckland, You will be responsible for contacting our candidates and setting up appointments nationally, for all our Occupational Health Nurses.

  • Supporting the clinical team with administration tasks
  • Excellent customer service
  • Accurately recording and maintaining occupational health records
  • Manage the day to day scheduling of work for our occupational health nurses nationally
  • Ensure maximum efficiency in processing a high volume of requests, phone calls and that our clients and candidates are contacted and scheduled within our required KPI’s
  • General administration for the Occupational Health team
  • Hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm with possibility of working occasional Saturdays if required – Not common but can happen occasionally

What do you need to apply?

You will have:

  • Previous experience carrying out administrative duties and customer service
  • Experience in learning new software quickly
  • Strong problem solving and prioritisation skills
  • Accuracy with grammar and spelling
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good communication skills - written and oral
  • Strong team player
  • A high level of self-organisation, motivation, and initiative
  • Previous scheduling experience of any kind is preferable but not necessary
  • Able to work alone, in a small team or within a large group setting
  • Outgoing personality
  • Ability to think outside the square
  • Work well under pressure
  • Highly organised
  • This role requires a high degree of professionalism, multi-tasking and customer service skills
