Grow your electrical career within our small maintenance team at Coronet Peak Ski Resort. This is a rare and exciting opportunity that will suit a well-rounded fully qualified Industrial Electrician with a love for the outdoors and all that Queenstown & NZSki has to offer. This role reports to the Maintenance Head of Department.  You will work four days a week across a seven-day operation. 

Electrical work might be your main task, but you may also be asked to assist with general maintenance duties as and when required.

In this role you can expect that you will:

• Carry out all electrical maintenance in accordance with relevant legislation
• Support electrical processes with equipment installation
• In summer support MTB operations and Ultimate Hikes
• Test and tag equipment
• Troubleshoot, maintenance and repair of all things electrical
• Assist with ordering of parts and supplies as needed
• Maintain relationships with suppliers
• Liaise with onsite contractors
• Ensuring operational checks are completed and standards are maintained
• Have a current NZ Electrical certification and practising license
• Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a qualified electrician with knowledge of AC & DC drives, Control Systems, PLC’s and Industrial Electrics
• Have a full NZ driver’s license. HT license would be advantageous
