We have an exciting opportunity available for a Nurse Practitioner.
About the role
This role contributes to a supportive and progressive highly skilled inter-professional team fostering innovation, progression and commitment to service excellence in our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
We are seeking an energetic and inspirational Nurse Practitioner who can demonstrate collaborative advanced practice, with a focus on patient safety and quality improvement.
About the service
The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit has 41 cots, 17 of which are allocated to Level 3 care and we have an active retrieval service for the Midland region of the North Island.
We are committed to cultivating a positive environment of teamwork, learning and development, and valuing the skills and contribution of all members of our multidisciplinary team working together towards the best possible health outcomes for neonates and their families.
We are looking for someone who:
• Is qualified as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner in New Zealand.
• Holds a current New Zealand Annual Practising Certificate.
• Is innovative and passionate, with effective communication skills.
• Builds strong relationships across disciplines to improve health outcomes.
