Position overview

This position will be a tenure appointment for a period of three years, as part of the University's implementation of its Student Safety and Wellbeing Plan.

The Student Safety and Wellbeing team works across the University to support students' capacity to participate in their education, by providing case management across a number of issues that can impact on their safety and wellbeing including responding to sexual assault and sexual harassment disclosures. The team is comprised of a Senior Manager, Practice Lead, Case Managers and a Nurse Practitioner.

The Nurse Practitioner, Student Safety and Wellbeing will contribute to the University's commitment to centrally coordinate and monitor support for students including the response to sexual assault and sexual harassment, prevention, policy, training and reporting to create a safe and healthy place for all students and staff.

This role is responsible for the provision of high quality case coordination and referral to ensure safe, accessible, confidential and timely responses across ANU in addition to the development and provision of sexual health educational programs. The Nurse Practitioner, Student Safety and Wellbeing will also play a role in the University's response to critical incidents as determined by the Critical Incident Policy.
