About the role:
Our nursing team is critical in our vision to build healthier rural people and thriving communities. Our nurse managers make sure we deliver on our promise through creating safe, healthy environments that support the work of the health care team and contribute to patient engagement.
You will be managing and supervising staff and clinical nursing practice with a focus on optimal patient outcomes and professional growth for staff. Other duties include case management, treatment planning, recruitment budgeting, scheduling, mentoring and developing educational plans.
You’ll be a role model to uphold policies and professional standards practices with staff to deliver evidence based best-practice and safe care. You’ll also be an advocate for our organisational change processes to continuously improve nursing care delivery.

Warren is a small rural town on the beautiful Macquarie River, 545 kilometers northwest of Sydney and 109 kilometers from the major city of Dubbo, home to the famous Taronga Western Plains Zoo.
Warren Multipurpose Service (MPS) is a 42-bed facility that includes residential aged care services, 24-hour emergency care, acute and sub-acute/non-acute inpatient services, rehabilitation and respite, and palliative care services.
A range of outpatient and primary and community health services are also offered at Warren MPS including early childhood nursing, aged and disability social support, women’s health, and mental health.
