About the Role

Healthcare Australia are working with a leading Healthcare Provider who are seeking to employ a Clinical Nurse Educator for a small hospital-based women’s health facility in Hobart. As Clinical Nurse Educator, you will facilitate and deliver clinical education and support to the Midwifery Service in line with the organisation’s core values.

Key Responsibilities

Assess learning needs and objectives of individuals and groups

Provide clinical support and supervision in the practice area to all staff

Develop, implement and evaluate clinical education programs that support the delivery and quality of care in collaboration with the Learning and Development Coordinator

Implement contemporary nursing and educational frameworks

As the successful Candidate you will have:

Registered Nurse status with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia with a current practising certificate

Minimum 1 year

Post-graduate qualification 

Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or willing to undertake 1st year)

Ability to educate in a variety of settings i.e. individual, group or simulation

Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as a team member
