This is an exciting new designated senior nurse role that will inform Informatics development integrating nursing knowledge and wisdom with information and communication technologies.
This role facilitates optimum use of electronic clinical systems, processes, and tools to support delivery of quality outcomes for the staff, patients, and the organisation.
MÅu - About You
You will require broad clinical experience, relevant post-graduate qualification, and hands-on experience in the field of Informatics and digital systems. You will inform new workflows and guide technology development to implementation of clinical applications where Nurses and Midwives are users.
Working in partnership with Te Pare Å Toi, (to incorporate the principles of MÄori data sovereignty), Nurse and Midwife Managers and other key stakeholders you will provide leadership in nursing informatics policy and practice based on best available evidence.
