• We pay well above minimum rates.
• We have levels of pay that increase after every 12 months' service for 3 consecutive years.
• We pay overtime after 8 ordinary hours a day at 1.6 times your ordinary base rate for the first 2 hours' overtime, after which you get paid at 1.75 times your ordinary base rate for the remainder of that day's overtime.
• If your scheduled work hours start or stop between 6.30pm and 2.30am the next day, you will be paid a Premium* payment of 10% of the value of the ordinary scheduled hours (excluding Livestock Hatchery and Farm workers).

As a process worker in one of our various chicken processing departments you will experience a work environment that is fast paced, dynamic and very team oriented. Flexibility to assist with overtime and an immediate start will be highly valued by Tegel.

We work Monday-Friday with overtime available and the odd Saturday. We work some public holidays. We also have a variety of different departments and with start times from 3pm onwards which is great for a work-life balance. On the job training will be provided to the successful candidates.
