GreenTech Resources is currently hiring Furniture Finishers and Refinishers (NOC 9534) for our employer based in Regina, SK location who are ready to support an LMIA/PNP.

GreenTech Resources is an established recruitment, immigration and settlement company with its Head office in Regina, SK, Canada. Established in 2016, we have our offices in Regina, Saskatoon, Calgary, Edmonton and Mississauga. Greentech deals in foreign worker recruitment, settlement and immigration processes.

Responsibilities for Furniture Finishers and Refinishers

• Meeting with the customer to discuss finishing and color requirements.
• Disassembling the furniture or wooden item.
• Inspecting the wood for rot and physical damage.
• Repairing broken parts, removing imperfections, and filling in cracks.
• Removing old finishing’s and excess solvent.
• Sanding and smoothing the item in preparation for finishing.
• Selecting and applying finishing lubricants such as varnish, stains, or shellac.
• Replacing or refurbishing upholstery.
• Inspecting the refurbished product and completing job reports.
• Polish and wax refinished surfaces
• Sand or grind metal surfaces to prepare for coating, and paint metal surfaces using electrostatic method, spray gun or other painting equipment
• Make minor repairs to furniture
• May perform duties of furniture finisher.

Employment Requirements

• Some secondary school education is required.
• College, high school or industry courses in furniture finishing or refinishing may be required.
• On-the-job training is provided.
