We are currently accepting applications for the position of Night Porter. The Night Porter is responsible for patrolling resort premises, maintain security, respond in a professional manner to alarms, investigate disturbances, document daily/nightly activities, warn persons of rule infractions or violations. The Hotel Night Porter must possess a positive and upbeat personality with a desire to deliver outstanding customer service to our guests. The Hotel Night Porter must have the ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented, and be able to problem solve in order to effectively deal with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities:

• Provide overnight services and security for three buildings, hallways, parking lots and public areas
• Respond to and assist with guest requests and concerns in a professional manner
• Enforce quiet times throughout Resort
• Produce nighty reports as required
• Open/Close Pool, Hot Tub and Fitness Center
• Maintain Public Areas to a high standard
• Work closely and professionally with all other departments
• Administrative duties
• All other duties as required

Requirements

• Experience in all aspects of customer service
• Strong working knowledge of hospitality industry
• Ability to analyze and interpret the needs of clients and offer the appropriate options, solutions, and resolutions required
• Exceptional conflict resolution, negotiation, and objection handling skills
• Able to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environment
• Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
