About the role
The successful candidates will be responsible for working within a diverse team to care for patients with complex Neurological conditions. They will be working in Neurosurgical and Neuroscience Unit. An Acute 32 Bed unit focused on holistically caring for patients with altered neurological function. New staff will be supported and developed to care for patients post-acute intervention. There is ample opportunity to enhance one’s knowledge and understanding of acute stroke treatments as well as neurosurgical intervention. New staff are encouraged to develop their own skills by a supportive team, whom have a wealth of experience they are keen to share.

Successful applicants will receive a thorough orientation to the unit and self-directed learning packages to facilitate enhancement of skills.
About you
The successful applicant will be an organised person with the ability to effectively communicate and multi-task while efficiently prioritising workloads. You have the ability to work autonomously and effectively within a team environment. Prior experience within Neuroscience nursing is highly regarded.
Successful applicants will be flexible, having the ability to work a variety of shifts over a seven day roster.
To be eligible for employment in these roles you must be: an Australian Citizen, or a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport, or a citizen of another country with an appropriate visa that allows you to work in Australia.
If you currently hold a temporary visa that allows you to live and work in Australia you may only be offered employment in line with the conditions and expiry date of your visa.
