Job Description:

Top Energy has operations throughout the Far North. The Company is privately owned by a power consumer trust and employs staff in Geothermal Generation and Distribution Lines operations. It is an exciting time to join us. We are rapidly evolving from being a traditional distribution company to becoming a technology enabled distributed energy company that allows multi-directional energy transfers between generators and users.

 Top Energy is seeking a person responsible for the management of statistical information reporting, analysis of information for internal business reports, and performance reports to the Regulator and industry stakeholders. You will participate in the delivery and future development of Top Energy's operational control systems, including ADMS, load management, system performance reports and smart networks, as well provide accurate and timely Network performance information to the business.

Key areas of focus will be:

• Carry out network performance data quality checks on a daily basis to ensure accurate/timely data and reports are maintained
• Develop automated reporting systems and templates
• Participate in annual internal and external regulatory audits and provision of data for disclosure
• Produce an Annual Network Performance Report, with fault, failure data, and analysis to allow planning and maintenance engineers to identify areas of the network requiring focus, investment, and remediation
• Support the maintenance and development of Top Energy's Network Operational Control Systems, including (but not limited to):
  • ADMS
  • DMS
  • Load Management
  • Smart Network
  • Outage planning management

• Provide general engineering support across the network team
• Provide operational input and support to the ICS strategy map, for development and maintenance of Operational Systems
• Develop and maintain network standards for network operational systems operations and management
• Identify training requirements and develop an annual operations systems training plan for the network team. Train and support users to ensure compliance, knowledge & understanding, consistency and accuracy of processing

 To succeed in this role, you will have an electrical engineering degree in power systems. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in an operational role in the electricity industry. It is also essential that you have excellent computer skills.
