Job Description

The National Control Tower Manager role within the Global Logistics Division of Toll is a newly created, strategic role focused on supporting our internal Business Units, Drivers and Customers. This role is accountable for developing and driving efficiencies within the multi-modal network from demand through to arrival, ensuring safety and compliance monitoring.

Responsibilities key to the role will include but not be limited to:

• Develop and plan the optimisation of compliant, lowest cost services delivering commercial value to Toll
• Manage the development of long and medium range planning and critical analysis to deliver Year on Year savings and performance improvements
• Ensure the monitoring of safety, compliance and vehicle movements from despatch to arrival
• Manage the performance of all team members to build a high performing Control Tower function
• Collaborate across Toll to provide visibility of National Transport activities across multiple modes

Qualifications

 To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a Senior Transport Management role
• Proven ability in leading multi-faceted transport operation
• Extensive knowledge and experience in the implementation of Sales Operations & Planning principles in an operational environment
• Proven ability to develop and implement network optimisation strategies to achieve cost efficiencies
• Demonstrated experience in leading teams through transformational change
• Well versed in chain of responsibility regulatory requirements.
